diana camera: sea legs

 

yesterday i finished + processed another roll of film from my diana camera. i love how on every film, there's always a couple of photos you've forgotten you took... and it's the best surprise. a warm rush of memories.

i do love digital but at the moment i'm smitten with capturing the world in a 4x4" frame.x 

p.s. what are you waiting for? load up that film! :) i'm being especially brave for november and am experimenting with an expired colour reversal film. i've no idea what to expect but it looks amazing!

procrastination eradication

haircut

i've booked to get my hair cut + coloured this weekend. and after a brief fling with blonde foils i'm heading back to chic, shiny chocolate brown. i know it's for the best but i can't help wishing for hair like this...

weekend love

little cars from uzes, france

i love going to wellington; my new bestie and i stayed at a beautiful hotel, ate amazing mexican food and i bought a gorgeous new lipstick.

sunday we headed back home to the beach, took the jetski out + headed off for an impromptu dive. i should have been wearing my brave red lipstick because that water was near freezing (i was only in a bikini!) but worst of all was the scary seaweed slithering everywhere! still i was looking cute with my new pedicure matching my snorkel!! almost the same colour as the little pink car above...

it's a long weekend

labour weekend for me is officially the beginning of summer. i'm looking forward to a weekend away in my favourite city, wellington, visiting my favourite ladies, kate + karen... 

the top above would be so perfect with my new h+m skirt.

bedside

i'd have to say, these random series of bedside photos are fast becoming my favourite kind of self portrait. the perfect way to capture a moment in time. as always the alarm clock, contact lenses and my lovely anthro bird. today joined by a purse from h+m, a good book, my new fragrance and 4 rolls of exposed film.

the start

just a small selection of all the paper that made it's way 18546km home with me. i've since shuffled it all into some sort of date order + have uploaded 800+ photos to my computer. phew.

i'm waiting for the weekend + some sunshine + currently being inspired by these amazing travel journals. wow.
