turban? or not turban
this post started out in response to my extreme desire to rock a turban after viewing this photo on pinterest (that place never fails to inspire me, just sayin').
but twenty minutes later, whilst trying to track down the original source, i remembered this interesting post by kate arends. well worth reading if you've ever used an image on a blog site that's not your own.

move over dresses i've got a new obsession!
these two are my latest purchases - funny though, these styled shots don't look much like they do on me!
unfortunately the pair on the left (from zara) are still winging their way to me from hong-kong (my sis-in-law has a pair and she was kind enough to stalk them down on ebay for me!) and the pair on the right i bought from storm the other day, but i took home the wrong size! argh! i'm hoping to have both pairs in my possession later in the week. fingers crossed!

earlier in the year elle approached me to design a new logo for her blog and i'm excited to see it combined with an awesome template by katrina. hmmm... i'm inspired to have a bit of an autumn-redesign round here too! the perfect activity for all this rain we've been having!

new schedules. as hinted at last week, i've made the decision to go part-time at work. it's exciting to watch my plans start to take shape.

workshops. organised as part of the diana world tour, wendy + shaun did an amazing job. even the wing-man was inspired.
new lenses. all about the small details.
soup season. i'm going to start with this recipe tonight.
