keen for a little creative competition? ilana of see me everywhere has the perfect au revoir to summer. simply take a photo (digital or analogue) that is based around the following quote
"I still believe in paradise. But now at least I know it's not some place you can look for..." You can be creative and interpret it any way you want, and through your photo, finish the sentence.
i've got two rolls from my diana ready to be collected today so with any luck i'll share my entry tomorrow.x

i've had a redesign of our second bedroom creative studio. gone is the spare bed, enter a new desk, better storage + more space!
these are my two favourite new views - a vintage typewriter found by my wonderful sis-in-law with a great quote from a kikki.k catalogue. the other - a new 'r' from typo, a beautifully clear desk and a new desktop inspired by my recent collage book.

as mentioned previously, i love to see the work spaces and processes of creative folk.
thank goodness for people like jennifer causey (found via pikaland) who has ventured with her camera behind-the-scenes to create the makers project.
i love that there is a range of industries represented...
from beautiful florists...
to ginger-syrup makers...
people who make the world smell sweet...
or keep rainbows on their walls...
p.s. i am working through a serious obsession with triangles, look-books, newsprint and bright red nails. i don't think this is the last you'll see of that creative combo!

working part-time has so far been a bit of a mixed bag. for each morning i'm up and designing by 9am there's many more i sleep-in, flood the laundry and bake terrible afghans.
but slowly i think the tide may be turning (excuse the pun). saturday night i couldn't sleep because i was scared the sleep fairies would hide my ideas for a new collage book!!
