forgive me for sounding totally geeky here, but i think the design process is an amazing thing. 

to see behind the scenes, from a little pencil sketch and an inkling of an idea, to a complete, realised product is nothing short of magic.

My older sister designs fabric in Hong Kong--I was amazed at the complicated math involved in her degree. I love fabric, so I'm glad it's in capable hands.
