phew, when life gets busy it seems blogging is the first thing that goes.
two things i've seen this week that have encouraged me to get back in the blogging swing of things...
first up, kate spade saturday. as part of the kate spade family, saturday brings the love of quirk and colour of kate spade at a more affordable pricepoint. the website design is spot on and i love the array of dresses, bags and even homewares. if only they shipped to nz!
the other is this photo of victoria of sfgirlbybay, over at the every girl.
nothing like a bloggers to-do, to get inspired :) happy easter weekend!
i'm recovering from having another wisdom tooth removed by perusing the best colour palettes from new york fashion week. so much patterned goodness especially from the eternally inspiring, karen walker. her prints remind me of erin jang's illustrations.
photo above taken with my diane f+ camera and cross-processed as part of my january intentions
a new month; new goals
make fresh pasta > we were lucky enough to receive a pasta maker for christmas and i can't wait to try it out. does anyone have a fail-safe recipe? i think i'm going to start with jamie oliver's - and will share the results!
read 'the 7 habits of highly effective people' > i've got a slight head-start with this goal as i've joined an online bookclub organised by jess lively, and i'm really looking forward to using my time with more intention (less pinterest!!)
comment more > i use google reader to keep up with my regular blogs but it's easy to read through posts and scroll to the next. this february i'm encouraging myself to join the conversation.
happy 2013!
i'v been celebrating the start of a new year with a little refresh of my online space along with ideas for new features. 2013 is all about action and making things happen!
a photo from 'steal like an artist' by austin kleon - a great little book i picked up from my local bookstore. highly recommended!
another interesting and inspiring interview over at the great discontent. last week featured maria popova of brain pickings.
