communicating directly with customers via email is an important tool for businesses. cutting through the deluge of inbox clutter requires design that works as well as it looks. although my role is primarily visual, decisions i make in layout influence the web developers who bring our newsletters to life - and as everyone knows, you need to keep the developers happy! (more on that here).

i love the tone and branding of all mail chimp's collateral and these resources are no exception. awesome designs and helpful advice covering a full range of email audiences.
and once you've finished reading, reward yourself with a gallery of beautiful email newsletters. sometimes you just need to dive in and make it happen!
