as you may have already guessed i love typography; the latest free offering from type depot is so sweet. here's a little more from the designers:

Matilde is friendly thin typeface with extra tall capitals, elegant look combined with decorative elements. This typeface will work well for headings, short paragraphs, magazines, children’s books, posters, logos and any type of graphic design. Available in two styles - normal and sketch.

 

along with the font download is a collection of frames. the perfect inspiration starter for my must-do holiday greeting cards!

wellington mini book

as promised here's the first four pages of my wellington mini-book... it was inspired by ephemera collected over the weekend, predominately the latest moochi catalogue + swonderful store bag + tissue paper that was lovingly wrapped around my veronika maine dress.

it's all sitting unbound at the moment, i have plans involving bookbinding tape across the top but thought i'd share some pages before the point of no return! more pages to follow!

2010

 yup, i finally settled on my words for 2010. belief looked a little lonely so i needed to partner it with action and grace.

tonight, now i have made my choices i am going to jot down some details in this workbook {found via the always inspiring susannah}

ok it's time for a new plan. as much as i love blogging, our terribly slow internet connection and 8 hours a day spent in-front of a computer at work is starting to kill the vibe. so i'm going to try and mix it up a bit and handwrite my blogs in my new kikki k journal and then upload them at night. tonight's post is a quote i found via makeunder my life in a truly inspiring segment she runs called design your life.
